Dan Baird is a singer-songwriter, musician and producer best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist from the chart-topping rock band The Georgia Satellites. Baird formed The Georgia Satellites and the self-titled debut Georgia Satellites was their most successful release featuring the track “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went into heavy rotation on MTV.
Baird left the band to pursue a solo career and released Love Songs for the Hearing Impaired. The first single “I Love You Period”, charted and peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100. A follow up single “The One I Am” charted and peaked at #13 on Billboard’s “Album Rock Tracks” chart.
In 2005, Baird began touring and recording with his band, Homemade Sin which today features two ex-members of The Georgia Satellites, Baird and drummer Mauro Magellan, along with bassist and guitarist Warner E. Hodges (of Jason & the Scorchers). Known for their blazing high-energy live shows, Homemade Sin performs a mixture of Baird’s solo material in addition to the hits and fan favorites from his years with the Georgia Satellites. The band has built a solid name and touring history across the UK and Europe. The band released a new album in 2017 so gearing up for a great year of international touring including North America for select tour dates in 2018.

This Ain’t Hollywood
This banger will be featuring some very specials guests:
Montreal’s CORRIDOR take familiar elements but assemble and scramble them in a way you may not have heard before. There’s a twin-guitar interplay that recalls the late-’70s mutant new wave of XTC, The dB’s and The Feelies, with a sense of melody that shows a love of ‘60s psychedelia and sunshine pop. Putting a hometown twist on things, CORRIDOR sing entirely en français. Don’t let that put you off though: the creativity and abundance of killer tunes found on their acid-baked 2017 album Supermercado breaks through the language barrier. CORRIDOR are even better live, with a real joie de rock that knows no borders — guitars slash, harmonies soar, bodies a constant blur.

FRIDAY JULy 6 Saint Pé (ex-Black Lips) / Shade / Delta Days
Fishbum Records & This Ain’t Hollywood present…
“In 2014, after 10 years of touring the world (literally every continent but Antarctica!) in Atlanta’s legendary Black Lips as well as the critically-acclaimed Diamond Rugs, guitarist and vocalist Ian Saint Pé needed a change. As he put it, “The only thing you can’t change is time, So it was time that changed me. I loved the Black Lips, but I needed to enjoy new environments. So I got a brand new bag: Saint Pé.“
With his first record finally in that brand new bag and new songs already on the way, Saint Pé plans to spend the foreseeable future back on the road with this latest project, bringing his new sounds to plenty of familiar faces.” – http://saintpeband.com/
